Too chill but loud as fuck and its really just a bitch to get a table here. It gets so fucking packed even on monday. I blame citysearch, the shittiest fucking site on the planet for this because it ranks gary danko the best fine dining in the city. I personally wouldn't call it fine dining because of the loud casual atmosphere. They actually have a full service bar, and I'm not one for reservations so I just roll in and eat at the bar.

The staff is really friendly and put up us and we're loud the entire time.

For some reason my bill keeps coming out to like $300 but Tony is able to make it out of there doing under $200. The key is to not order cognac, but it's so hard!

The wine list is fucking ridiculous. There's unlimited wine, all of which is pretty unaffordable, I think the average bottle here is in excess of $200 and going up to $8000. Theres only a handful of $100 bottles but are all pretty amazing, so they have a pretty large selection of half bottles and the wines by the glass are all well selected. But wine by the glass? Oh man thats fucking gay. Try a bottle of Gaja Promis, too good. Unfortunately they don't have any good ports for some reason. All this 1985 and 1983 crap.

Their cognac selection is outstanding but overpriced. They even have a World War II victory cognac. I forgot the name.

Anyhow, the key dish is their fucking froglegs. Wrapped in pancetta. That's basically bacon wrapped froglegs.

Their seared fois gras is really good and pretty huge.

Their filet mignon is pretty chill.

I had some poached oysters with iranian caviar but it was so-so. The only thing that saved the dish was the unending buttery soupyness.

They had killer sweetbreads with a trippy orientalish sauce but they aren't on the menu at the moment.

The cheese selection is awesome, they roll out a whole cart full of goodness and you get to pick a bunch of them.

Deserts here are pretty damn good. The creme brulee is excessive Three flavors and each flavor is as large as a normal single serving. The chocolate souffle is definately the thing to get for sure, write my essay!
